The beds and pillows were very comfortable, the room was bright and had a large window that opened. There were excellent night lights I could use while my partner was sleeping. There was a sitting room with a tv and fireplace on the 1st floor that was a nice place to sit instead of our smallish room. There was also tea and coffee available anytime in reception. The breakfast was varied and delicious and the staff very helpful and accommodating.

Usually we dont bother to rate as all staff have been professional but the group here try to be particularly helpful. It was noteworthy and the breakfast provided had extra selections along the lines encountered at luxury Hotels we have been at!!

Nice renewal of an old building, rooms are well appointed, I would prefer higher floors as they have better natural light. Breakfast is more than adequate. Courteous and professional staff. Location is fantastic for someone who wishes to stay at the center of Viseu, and parking is extremely easy. This is about the 5th stay at this hotel, so I guess that my opinion is well supported by empirical evidence!

The hotel is right in the heart of Viseu, next to the park and a large tree shaded esplanade with a café. The beds are super comfortable, all is very clean, neat and tastefully decorated. Free street parking is 3min away. We ate a fantastic giant ice cream at Gelataria Tre Santi just down the street. We loved this little know gem in the centre of Portugal.

The staff were amazing!!!! Start to finish.. Giving directions, and advice, all were so kind and patient, helpful and so pleasant. The breakfast was superb! Not only were the employees amazing to the guests but they genuinely were so great and respectful to one another!! Very clean, comfy, and attractive ..great location highly recommend A++++++

:A lovely 4-Star hotel in the middle of Viseu ( literally right on the Praca de Republica). The hotel staff was warm welcoming and helpful, holding our bags upon early arrival. Most of the staff spoke English and some other languages as well. The room was enormous (although for referance we did get a deluxe double). The bathroom features were modern and new and the tub was big enough for a swim (ok, just kidding but it was very big!). The bed, including the linens, was fresh clean and comfortable although on the firm side. The television had a wide variety of channels in multiple languages. Despite being right on the main square the room was very quiet and featured electric rolling window blinds. Breakfast was very good: the fruit was very fresh fruit, as were the breads, and pastries. The hot dishes were a bit limited but they were also kept fresh.

The facility was clean and neat, but a bit average in terms of amenities. The breakfast was fine, but nothing spectacular. We loved the location in the historic center. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, I felt I received a good value for my money.

Helpful staff , despite arriving later than planned. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with good choice. Helpful with storing our bicycles in the garage. Lovely restaurant on mid level above / across the square Rossio Parque.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The room was comfortable and quiet, had a really nice shower, and the breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've had. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location is about a ten minute walk from the bus station and less than a block from a central plaza.
